About Us

At Attitude Dance Arizona, we pride ourselves on giving families a wholesome place to bring their children, to study and train in the arts.  The world is a changing place, and we understand parental concerns to give our sons and daughters an opportunity to be artistic and expressive without the necessity of suggestive costumes or music that supports negative lifestyles.  Attitude Dance Teams are a place to celebrate positive decision making, personal development, and to create a platform of self-confidence and self worth for our youth.  Read on to learn about our ever-growing team!  Contact us directly with interest to volunteer for one of our fundraisers, or to join our staff.

Ms. Becci
Owner and Instructor
Becci began dancing at the age of 4, and never stopped since. She quickly excelled in ballet, tap, jazz, modern and hip hop, and at the age of 8, was invited into the Kidz Connection, a youth troupe that performed at major festivals and events. In High School, she led her school's dance team on to win the Wisconsin State Championship, and she held roles as captain and choreographer. She began teaching children at the age of 14, and was also a member of the nationally acclaimed Accent on Dance competition company.

In college, Becci led the student organization, Dance Elite, at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. She held position of team coach and choreographer, and was later inducted into the Universal Dance Association as an instructor and competition judge.

Becci's passion for dance never ceased. After living in both NYC and Southern California, dancing, singing and acting, she set up camp in Arizona with her fiance when they decided to start a family.  She founded Attitude Dance AZ not days after arriving in the Valley of the Sun, and has enjoyed teaching her students from 5 to 50 years old.  Her favorites are hip hop and tap!

Ms. Lauren
Lyrical Jazz and Technical Instructor
Lauren was born and grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. After college, she moved to Salt Lake City in 2007 to get her Master’s Degree, and is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in Phoenix. Although she loves her job, dance has been her passion since the age of three, and she is well versed in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical and modern.

With 15 years as a student at Accent on Dance in Waukesha, Wisconsin, Lauren was a member of their elite company program, where she was a competitive dancer since the age of 10. She has traveled and competed in Chicago, Detroit, Minneapolis, Las Vegas, Orlando and New York City to achieve numerous national championship titles. She was nominated for Dance Olympus’ Dancer of the Year at the Chicago Regional Convention in 2001, for a solo performance. Lauren started teaching dance when she was 13, and was later invited to co-teach at the 2000 Dance Olympus Regional Convention in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Lauren and Becci met while dancing at Accent on Dance together and became great friends. Reuniting 10 years later in Arizona, Lauren is excited to work with Becci again and be a part of the Attitude Dance Arizona faculty.
